Dr. Laura Noll received her Doctorate of Psychology from Indiana State University in 1996 and is licensed in the state of Missouri as a clinical psychologist.  Additionally, she received certification as a Health Service Provider in Psychology.  Dr. Noll received her Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and Criminology from Purdue University.  She completed her postdoctoral training in forensics at St. Louis State Hospital.

Dr. Noll has been a member of the therapeutic team at Comprehensive Psychiatric Associates since 2003.  Prior to her current position, she was employed as the Clinical Director and Director of the Masters and Johnson Trauma-Based Disorders Unit at Two Rivers Psychiatric Hospital.  Dr. Noll was also previously employed in the Missouri Department of Corrections as the Director of the Missouri Sex Offender Program.

Dr. Noll has conducted seminars nationally on the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the treatment of Trauma-Based Disorders, including Borderline Personality Disorder.  Additionally, she has also conducted seminars throughout the state of Missouri on the treatment of sex offenders.

In her current outpatient practice, Dr. Noll provides individual, family and couples therapy, as well as psychological evaluations.  She provides therapy to patients from adolescence through adulthood.  She addresses a broad range of psychiatric disorders, including personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma-based disorders, anger management, disorders of emotional regulation, and sexual addiction.  She has specialized training in the treatment of trauma-based disorders. 

Dr. Noll utilizes a comprehensive approach to treatment, focusing on identifying underlying causes for disorders and implementing coping skills for improving the current quality of life.  This approach addresses past, present, and future factors in treatment.  She focuses on identifying strengths and resiliency within the client and maximizing their capacity toward growth.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies are frequently used in treatment.  The overall goal of treatment is to work toward balanced living and an improved quality of life.
