Dr. Mossinghoff attended medical school at The University of Kansas School of Medicine.  She then went on to complete her internship and residency in General Psychiatry at The Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas.  Her Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was completed at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and the Menninger Clinic in Topeka, Kansas.

Dr. Mossinghoff has also completed the Visiting Fellowship training program in Electroconvulsive Therapy at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Dr. Mossinghoff is an active member of the American Psyciatric Association and the Kansas Psychiatric Society.

In addition to her practice of general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Mossinghoff has a special interest in Perinatal Psychiatry, treating women with psychiatric conditions before, during and after pregnancy, as well as dealing with Postpartum Depression and issues related to infertility. 

Dr. Mossinghoff’s experience includes extensive work with all Women’s Issues in Psychiatry, to also include Premenstrual Dysphoric Mood Disorder, Mood and Anxiety Disorders associated with menopause.

Dr. Mossinghoff has facilitated support groups for women suffering from Postpartum Depression and Infertility issues. Dr. Mossinghoff has lectured for a few pharmaceutical companies in promotion of Women’s Mental Health Issues.
