Julie Ball received her Masters degree in Art Therapy from Vermont College of Norwich University (1985). She completed a clinical internship at Boston Children’s Hospital and The Boston Institute for Psychotherapy. Julie is a nationally registered, board certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri. With nearly 30 years counseling experience, she has worked in a broad range of clinical mental health settings. In private practice for 18 years, Julie has extensive experience in working with Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Families. In addition, she has taught coursework at several universities, facilitated numerous trainings and workshops for community services, mental health professionals and educators, both locally and overseas.
Her areas of interest and expertise include embracing and coping with life transitions, overcoming the effects of trauma and abuse, helping clients in developing practical tools and tapping their innate wisdom to foster recovery from depression, anxiety and loss. Julie incorporates multiple approaches to the therapy process to meet each individual’s unique need. |
